Hello, I’m Liz Bouta, and I’m the person behind Activated Cowgirl & Co.

I grew up in the heart of Minnesota as the daughter of a dedicated farmer. At 13, my journey with horses began when I got my first horse.  I pursued a degree in Veterinary Technology, gaining a wide variety  of experience working with both large and small animal veterinarians from Minnesota to Montana.

My own alternative wellness search led me to become an independent LifeVantage consultant, with herbal and non-toxic products for humans and animals.  In addition, I became an independent BEMER distributor, specializing in therapeutic medical devices that enhance blood flow for both horses and humans.

After partnering with Clinton Langerud Saddlery, I began learning about saddle quality and saddle fit.  I offer more than saddle fit with a holistic veterinary approach, we can discuss your horse’s health, saddle fit, saddle quality, and troubleshoot your issues under saddle.  I’m now taking in used saddles on consignment that will be inspected, cleaned, and repaired prior to sale, to ensure you have a safe saddle.

With a cowgirl spirit and a commitment to continuous learning, I am here to provide comfort and safety so you and your horse can enjoy the best rides.
